Apres Peau :: foreverlily DC Debut
April 28, 2010 | Washington, DC
Apres Peau hosted the official Washington, DC, launch of the foreverlily fragrance with an evening party. The store at 14th and K Streets in downtown DC welcomed Beth Nonte Russell, her family and friends and the amazing fragrance she created.

Dr. Tina Alster opened Apres Peau (French for "after skin") to make the experience of finding the apropos gift easy and stylish. This world-renowned cosmetic dermatologist and lecturer, is founding director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery. The store did not previously carry much fragrance, but when the store's manager, Jessica Freedman, experienced the fragrance and heard the story behind it, she knew it was just right for the Apres Peau customer. After sharing it with Dr. Alster, they both knew they wanted to host an event to introduce the fragrance to Washington.
Guests of the Russells and Apres Peau sipped wine and sampled cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake and chocolates from J. Chocolatier. They also were able to meet, Lily, now 11 and the inspiration for the fragrance, and her little sister, Jaden, 6, as well as their father, Randy Russell, co-founder of the couple's Golden Phoenix Foundation and well-respected Washington lobbyist. $10 of every bottle of foreverlily perfume sold that night went directly to the Golden Phoenix Foundation, whose mission is to end child abandonment worldwide.
