Beth Nonte Russell

Beth Nonte Russell is the author of "Forever Lily," a memoir which shares the story of her unexpected adoption of an infant from China, published by Touchstone/Simon and Schuster.

She is also the Founder of GoodTrueBeautiful, Inc., which launched its first product line, a fragrance inspired by the book, in May of 2009, and the Golden Phoenix Foundation, whose mission is to end child abandonment worldwide.

Born and raised in Jasper, Indiana, Beth attended Indiana University where she received a BA in History. Upon graduation, Beth moved to Washington, DC, and worked for Senator Richard G. Lugar of Indiana. Beth went on to obtain a Master's degree in Psychology from Marymount University. She provided counseling services at a community mental health center in the Washington, DC, area prior to taking the journey that inspired "Forever Lily."

Beth serves on the Board of Directors of The Grace Children's Foundation and on the DC Advisory Council of The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute. She and her husband Randy, and their two daughters, Lily and Jaden, live in Northern Virginia and on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, where she is currently working on a screenplay adaptation of "Forever Lily".

Founded by author Beth Nonte Russell, Good True Beautiful, Inc. is a lifestyle brand created to inspire, encourage and celebrate what is good, true and beautiful in life. It's first product line is a fragrance inspired by Russell's powerful memoir, "Forever Lily," about the unexpected adoption of her daughter from China. Future brand extensions include ancillary products, meditation CDs, apparel, jewelry and accessories. A portion of proceeds from all GoodTrueBeautiful, Inc. products benefit the Golden Phoenix Foundation, whose mission is to end child abandonment worldwide.
